Calling All College Students And High Schools: Participate In The Safe On Campus Peer Education Program (SOC/PEP)
We are currently recruiting college students (undergraduate and graduate students) for paid internships with our Safe On Campus Peer Education Program. We are looking for Peer Education Campus Outreach Coordinators (PECOCS) to assist with our transition education program that educates high school students about safety issues in college (alcohol, sexual assault, stalking). SOC/PEP empowers college students to go into the community to educate high school students about sexual assault, alcohol, drug, hazing, and crime in college.

NCSAM 2010: Coming Together to Strengthen Campus Communities
This year, National Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM, pronounced "nack-sam") celebrates its 6th anniversary with the theme NCSAM 2010: Coming Together to Strengthen Campus Communities. This theme embodies what NCSAM is all about. It is our hope at Security On Campus, Inc. that we can work in partnership with universities to create safer, more supportive campus communities. By helping to facilitate students and administrators working together -- and when universities reach out to local law enforcement, and national and local organizations -- our campuses will be more secure, students will be more informed, and victims will be better supported.
